Proper pipette tip loading is necessary to ensure precise and accurate results and prevent contamination. Use these procedures to load a pipette tip correctly:

  1. Choose the proper pipette tip. Make sure the pipette you select has a tip that is appropriate for the type of pipette and liquid volume you are transferring.
  2. A firm grip on the pipette tip's flange is required. The flange is the wider portion of the pipette tip. To guarantee a tight seal and avoid contamination, hold the pipette tip close to the flange.
  3. Place the pipette tip and shaft into position. Verify that the pipette shaft and tip are fully inserted. The pipette shaft and tip should not come apart.
  4. Use the plunger to create a vacuum by gently pressing on it. You can guarantee that the pipette tip and liquid sample will be tightly sealed by doing this.
  5. Press the plunger to release the liquid sample for aspiration. Take care not to inhale excessive amounts of the liquid sample. At the pipette tip, the liquid level should be just below the graduation mark.
  6. To release the liquid sample, slowly press the plunger. Take care not to administer the liquid sample too quickly, as this may cause results that are not accurate.
  7. To take out the pipette tip, press the ejector button. The pipette shaft should allow for a clean tip ejection.

You can guarantee precise and accurate results by adhering to these procedures and making sure your pipette tips are loaded correctly.
