Let's break out some math.

According to the electrical power formula (Watts = Amps x Volts), our lights run on 12 Volts. So, one amp is the equivalent of 12 watts of power. With this in mind, the batteries we offer have capacities of either 3500 mAh (3.5 Ah), 6500 mAh (6.5 Ah), or 20000 mAh (20 Ah). This means they contain 42 Watt Hours, 78 Watt Hours, and 240 Watt Hours respectively.

Calculating the total battery capacity in time is simple. Start with the total wattage of your strip. For example, the Standard Density Luma 5 strip uses 21.31 Watts. Now, divide the battery capacity by that number.

Using this calculation, we find that a 3800 mAh battery can power the strip for 1.97 hours, a 6000 mAh battery can power it for 3.66 hours, and a 20000 mAh battery can power it for 11.26 hours.
